We cannot get enough of these Hand Painted, made with love, amazing necklaces by Fernworks.  

Lunar phases hand painted and layered in polished resin for a dreamy dimensional effect. Partially embedded in the resin is a tiny, sparkly Tabasco geode from Mexico. Each little geode will vary slightly.

We at Mom's are big fans of female own businesses. Faryn Davis, owner of Fernworks, creates tiny intricate worlds in resin. She enjoys blending small painted scenes and found specimens such as real grass, lichen, feathers, gemstones, and ethically sourced bones into dimensional resin artwork and jewelry. Each piece is hand-painted with toothpicks and brushes, layered in epoxy, then polished into delicate works of art.

For over 20 years Faryn has created art full-time from her home studio in Asheville, NC. Her work is inspired by the natural world, travels, and a sense of place. She spent her childhood on a farm in western North Carolina and has always considered herself to be a nature lover, collector, and scavenger. She loves that she has been able to channel her talents into a sustainable art practice.
